Elevation Certificate

A flood elevation certificate (EC) is a document needed to verify your property’s elevation relative to the estimated height floodwaters could reach in the event of a major flood.

Reason for wanting an elevation certificate:

1. Mortgage provider may require it if the subject property falls within a flood hazard zone.
2. Obtaining flood insurance for your property.
3. New construction.
